CALGARY, Canada (Aug. 21, 2025)—Sonoro Energy Ltd. (“Sonoro” or the “Company”) (TSXV: SNV) is pleased to announce that it has fully rigged up and has spud the Countess Well in Alberta. The Star Valley Drilling Rig 102 commenced drilling this morning after a smooth mobilization and rig setup yesterday.
The well will target Mississippian-aged carbonate formations at an estimated depth of approximately 3,500 feet. The drilling team has and will continue to focus on strict health and safety practices during the drill program.
The Countess well is located at 04-15-19-15 W4, approximately 10 kilometers west of Brooks, Alberta. Sonoro is the Operator of the well and holds a 100% working interest in the project.
