The Company has also carried out independent tests on oil sands to determine if the Company’s technology could be effective in a low cost primary separation process. Preliminary tests with a proprietary process protocol produced results comparable with existing technology.

However, the effectiveness of this technology is but a first step due to the massive scale of oil sands projects. At this time the Company believes the volume of material that would need to be processed requires a “next generation” of sonic reactor technology. Existing scale technology may be applicable to small scale oil sands production.

A more immediate but directly related application is the treatment of drill cuttings. This is not the same scale of opportunity but offers a more immediate access to market and cash flow generation based on modest investment of capital.
