Corporate Profile

The Company has developed and patented a proprietary sonic reactor technology with associated process patents for specific industrial applications.

Sonoro`s current focus is the commercialization of its process for upgrading heavy oil. Richard Wadsworth, a petroleum engineer with extensive heavy oil expertise, joined Sonoro as CEO in August 2009. Since joining Sonoro, Mr. Wadsworth has brought in a team and commenced executing on a profit-generating business plan, beginning with a 1,000 bpd commercial joint venture in Albania. We believe that successful commercialization of this first facility will lead to other opportunities in the region and globally wherever there is stranded heavy oil that can benefit from the Company`s low cost upgrading.

While Sonoro is focussing its human and capital resources on heavy oil resources and its current de-asphalting upgrading business, it recognizes that there are high impact opportunities for the commercialization of its technology in several other industries. We are currently striving to progress some of these opportunities with industry partners, thereby limiting Sonoro`s time and capital commitments. Two of these most promising opportunities are the conversion of unusable waste fly ash from coal-fired power stations into a cement substitute and the separation and extraction of oil sands from oil.
